As part of our commitment to our members, we’re always looking for ways that we can enhance our members’ benefits, and we’re very pleased to announce an upgrade in our CPD platform provider, from March 1st 2024.

You will know FMC from their industry-dominating titles like ‘Dentistry‘ and ‘Private Dentistry’, but you may not know they have produced a market-leading CPD online platform for dentists.

For existing Densura members enrolled on our existing CPD platform, you may have questions regarding the switch, so we have put the below together to put your mind at ease.

As a Densura Member how will I receive access to Dentistry CPD?

The Dentistry CPD team will shortly be sending you a welcome email requesting that you finalise your account set-up. This process will take around 2 minutes and will immediately grant you access to the platform. Please look-out for this email from no-reply@fmc.co.uk.

I’ve not received my email but want to get started with Dentistry CPD, what can I do?

We suggest in the first instance please checking your ‘other’ or ‘junk’ folders however if you’re unable to locate your welcome email you can click here to complete your account setup.

What content is included in Dentistry CPD?

Dentistry CPD provides over 600 hours of high-quality CPD content across all areas of dentistry including all the GDC’s recommended topics. Our CPD Tracker & Personal Development Plan tools make it easier than ever stay on top of your requirements and submit certificates to the GDC.

What else can I do with my Dentistry CPD login?

Once setup, your login allows you to access a wider range of FMC’s offerings including a complimentary copy of Dentistry magazine, access to all Dentistry Shows by FMC and to enter any of the Dentistry awards, Private Dentistry awards or Clinical Dentistry awards. You can also access 100 webinars per year on the Dentistry Webinars platform and access a back-catalogue of 300+ Webinars.

What happens to my existing courses?

Existing CPD Certificates can be moved over to the Dentistry CPD platform quickly and easily using the tools available at https://cpd.dentistry.co.uk/certificates once you’re logged in to your Dentistry CPD account. All certificates uploaded can have reflections added, be tracked to recommended topics and count towards your CPD Tracker.

I’m halfway through a course on the existing platform – what should I do?

You will need to complete any courses currently under way before the end of February and then export your CPD certificate ready to upload it to Dentistry CPD.

What do I do if I need support during setup?

FMC are ready to help you and you can reach the Dentistry CPD Support Team either by email on cpdsupport@fmc.co.uk or by calling them on 01923 851 777.

Ready to make the switch?

Get in touch if you’d like to switch from your current dental indemnity provider. Our team of experts will be happy to offer you a free, bespoke quote.
