Densura Announce Partnership with Global Top 20 Insurance Provider

We’re ending the year with some great news.

Starting November 1st, Densura will partner with QBE UK Limited, who will take over from RSA as the underwriters for the Medical Malpractice portion of your coverage. For existing clients, this change will only take effect at your next renewal date. Until then, your current coverage remains unchanged and will remain with RSA.

So what does that mean for you?

Essentially, no change. The transition to the new insurer is seamless, and no action is required on your part. Your coverage will continue as before, and you can expect the same level of protection and support.

Experience and insight from one of the biggest names in insurance

While everything on the surface will stay the same, behind the scenes, Densura will benefit from the backing of QBE, a global insurance powerhouse. Founded in 1886 and now operating in 26 countries, for over 100 years they have maintained a first-rate reputation, currently holding an A+ rating from Standard and Poor’s, and A (Excellent) by Fitch.

Crucially for the dental indemnity market, their wealth of experience with healthcare providers spans everything from R&D firms to manufacturers, sales and distribution, to hospitals and clinics. It’s a sector they have seen from every angle, and that gives them tremendous understanding and insight of the increasing challenges faced by our dentists.

Where we’ve come from and where we’re heading

Densura founder, Kevin Culliney commented “We are enormously grateful to RSA for putting their faith in Densura twelve years ago. Given our successful growth in recent years we have sought out a new partner to take us into the next stage of our expansion. QBE provides excellent long-term security and stability, and our dentist clients can be assured of the great service they have come to rely on, backed by QBE’s long-term approach.”

QBE’s Head of Healthcare, Doug Walker added, “We have watched Densura grow in recent years and we are excited to back them in this next exciting stage of their development. We are delighted to be working with Omnyy and Lockton, to provide superior products and service to customers in the UK dentist sector.”
